SEPTEMBER 22nd~26th Shine On, Harvest Moon
↪ ✽ SEPTEMBER 23rd: Activity Check!

Did you enjoy order memorization games as a child? ...No? Of course not, who did? But your childhood has returned to nip at your heels, and it seems the NPCs want help bringing in the harvest this year from a special area filled with fruit orchards, crops of wheat, and various vegetable crops. However, the items must be given in a specific order and if you don't hand them over correctly the first time, the NPCs will tell you to go back and return with fresh goods-- if they don't outright get mad and throw them in your face! But it shouldn't be too hard to remember, right...? Δ Harvesting Season's Night Moon is where you'll want to go, and make sure to remember your marching orders!

Have an idea for an event? Well, we can't do it all by ourselves-- let us know in the comments! If other players express interest in it, we'll stick it in! If they're holiday-oriented, please make sure to submit them the month before so we have time to work things around!

Harvest event was brought to you this month by [personal profile] tank_sniper-- thank you!

Event Suggestion

Seal the God of Death

Setting the stage :The events starts when the usual sunset sky of Mac Anu turns dark gray and strong gusts of wind start to blow. The players relics emit a kind of alarm, the screen becomes static and words flash on the screen "The seal weakens....Cernunnos....must not.....awaken.....". After the area words Δ Hidden Forbidden Dead Wood appears.

Upon arrival at the Lost Ground, the Dead World of Indieglut Lugh, the lake is almost empty, and giant tree in the center is slowly turning black. Surrounding the tree are a group(three to be exact) of NPSs dressed in white robes. They explain that the tree is the seal of Cernunnos, and it is dying.

The Quest : The participants are tasked to gather a certain amount (thinking 20, but can be lessened if it's too much) of an item that will give life back to the tree. The item can be found at Δ Harvesting Destiny's Bodhi Tree, and the item in question is held by monsters.

The area is a gigantic dark element field with a smaller island connected to the main isle by bridge. The objective of the area is to defeat the boss which will only appear once the participants require only the last piece.

Once they've gotten the required amount, they return to Indieglut Lugh and restore the tree. Hooray, crisis averted.

The Prize : I haven't really given it much thought, but the participants who bring the items in question first can choose between :

A) A rare item/weapon/armor

B) Lots and lots and lots of cash

C) Gain 2 levels

Still not sure. But that's the event! 8D

P.S. There are also panicking Chim Chims running around in the Lost Ground if anyone wants to kick some.

Returning with yet another stupid event idea

Harvesting Days or some better title idk.
Some magical new trees have cropped up around town/the towns, and it just so happens that they are now bearing fruit! There are a number of NPCs around who would like some of these fruits, but as with any NPC, they can't be bothered to pick the things themselves. This is where the players come in.

It gets better. Each player has the capacity for 5 fruits at a time, and each NPC is very picky about which fruits, in which order, they want. Fruit cannot be discarded without bumping them out by filling capacity and losing the oldest fruit obtained (or just, y'know, handing them off to NPCs. Not a good idea if it's not what the NPC wants). Once a fruit is picked, it will automatically be added to the container. Friggin' stack modus. On the bright side, it's not terribly difficult to make sure you're getting the right ones; each fruit is very differently colored (red, yellow, green, blue, and purple), so really it's just a matter of finding them and putting up with the NPCs' annoyances. I can toss up some specific NPC personalities if you guys think it'd be good, but otherwise I'm thinking players can just assume the NPCs are being very nasty and possibly chucking fruit at characters whenever they fail!

Figured it would be a nice, non-fighty little event because I realized keep submitting battle ones ahaha... Also not limited to any particular season, since the trees are ~*magic*~ and don't need to coincide with fall or anything. It's just a simple quest for some easy levels!
